Avoiding race day issues

Want to avoid running to the porta-potties? Getting dehydrated during the run? I know I do!

Here are some handy tips from Runner’s World.

– Use positive reinforcement to avoid pre-race anxiety

– Avoid salads and other roughage in the days before the race

– Drink plenty of fluids during the days before the race, and a sports drink on race morning to maintain proper hydration
